PRIVACY.
What happens to your email when you leave it on one of my guide pages. Short and plain.
THE DETAILS
YOUR EMAIL,
IN PLAIN WORDS.
Who I am
I’m Bruno Silva, and I run brsilva.co from Ireland. I decide what happens to your data.
Questions or requests: bruno@brsilva.co.
What I collect
When you leave your email on a guide page, I keep:
- your email address;
- which guide pages you signed up from;
- the campaign tags in the link you came from (the
utm_part of the address), if there were any; - when you signed up, and the exact sentence you agreed to.
To stop abuse, your IP address is turned into a one-way code and kept for at most 24 hours. The IP address itself is never stored.
Why
To email you when a new free tool is out. Nothing else.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by submitting the form.
Who handles it
Vercel hosts this site and the app that stores the list. Supabase runs the database the list lives in.
When the emails start, the sending service will be listed here before the first one goes out.
Both are US-based companies and may process data outside the EU under their standard data-protection terms.
Like every website, the hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short time.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email will have an unsubscribe link, or just email bruno@brsilva.co.
If you’re not happy with how I handle it, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie ↗.
Cookies
The form sets none, and this site uses no tracking. Your browser remembers that you signed up, so you aren’t asked again (a small flag kept on your device, never sent anywhere).
